Review by hotel critic
As a seasoned surfer and travel enthusiast, my recent stay at Farol Hotel in Cascais was an experience worth sharing. Nestled on the seafront, the hotel's culinary offerings truly stood out. Indulging at the Farol Bar, I savored cocktails amidst the classic yet stylish ambiance. The innovative use of the finest Portuguese ingredients in snacks like steak sandwiches was a delightful surprise. Dining at the restaurant was a sensory journey. Marveling at the ever-changing Atlantic views from the terrace heightened the gastronomic experience. The blend of Philippe Starck's transparent Louis Ghost chairs seamlessly merged the indoors with the outside world, reminiscent of my love for surf adventures that blur the boundaries of land and sea. Exploring the sushi bar with its ocean-facing extension and glass walls was a highlight, a fusion of delectable tastes with panoramic vistas. With a variety of dining options in the vicinity, including charming Tasca Da Linha, Farol Hotel truly caters to every culinary desire. My gastronomic escapade at Farol Hotel was an exquisite blend of ambiance, innovation, and the rich flavors of Portugal.
